Viorgan
Viorgan compost (vermicompost or earthworm humus) is a completely natural and entirely organic product produced by the decomposition of plant residues through the natural digestive function of earthworms. It is an excellent organic fertiliser, stable, no longer fermentable, light, friable, odourless and soluble, and is rich in organic matter, protein-degrading enzymes, natural growth hormones, vitamins, humic and fulvic acids.
Viorgan compost as a readily digestible product with a sufficient content of macro and trace elements and with an extremely high load of microbial flora (actinomycetes and other beneficial microorganisms) is the most valuable ecological proposal in plant nutrition. It is recommended as an excellent soil conditioner and organic fertilizer for all crops and soil types. Its application in greenhouse crops, vines, olives, apple trees, stone fruit, asparagus, truffles, potatoes, citrus fruits and floriculture is of great interest.
Applications - Dosages
Viorgan compost can be used effectively on all crops and all types of soils.
It is of great interest in greenhouses, vegetables, potatoes, vines, citrus, olive, stone fruit, apples, outdoor ornamentals and floriculture.
For best results, its implementation should be accompanied by integration. A watering or rain after application facilitates its incorporation into the soil and enhances its microbial activity.
Doses, when applied, depend on the soil organic matter levels and the requirements or nutrient needs of the crop. In more detail and depending on the crop, the dosages are:
Horticulture - Greenhouses - Asparagus
Inclusion 400-600L/acre (250-450kg)
Transplants
In the planting line, incorporate 150-230cc/sq m (100-150gr), thus protecting the plants from post-planting shock.
Trees (fruit trees, citrus trees, olive trees, etc.)
Inclusion 5-10L/tree (3-7kg)
Seedlings
2-3L (1.5-2kg), once or twice a year with light incorporation.
Large-scale crops - lawns (cotton, corn, tobacco, potatoes, etc.)
250-300L/acre (150-200kg), during soil preparation.
Kiwis - Bananas
300-350L/acre (200-250kg), as a basic fertilizer.
Vines - Raisins
300-350L/acre (200-250kg), late winter to early spring.
Sporia
2-5L/m2 (1.5-3.5kg), mixed with the germination substrate.
Ornamentals - Floriculture - Indoor and outdoor plants - Aromatic plants
60-80L/m3 (40-55kg), when mixed with other substrates.
