TSP 0-46-0
Triple superphosphate (TSP – 0-46-0) is a highly concentrated phosphate fertilizer containing 46% phosphorus (P₂O₅) in a 90% water-soluble form. It is one of the most efficient sources of phosphorus for crops, as phosphorus is immediately available to plants, contributing to rooting, flowering, fruit set, and overall crop resilience.
TSP is ideal for use in basic fertilization, as it provides the phosphorus required in the critical early stages of plant growth.
It is mainly used in soils with low available phosphorus content.
Features and advantages
TSP is suitable for a wide range of crops, such as:
Cereals – Grains (wheat, barley, corn): Helps rooting and flowering.
Industrial crops (cotton, sugar beet): Enhances growth and production quality.
Vegetables (tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers): Improves fruit development and yield.
Fruit trees (olives, citrus fruits): Supports vegetative growth and productivity.
Vines: Helps vine growth and improves grape quality.
High phosphorus content
Provides 42% water-soluble phosphorus for immediate absorption by plants.
Improved rooting
It enhances root system development, promoting the absorption of nutrients and water.
Ideal for basic lubrication
It is applied before or during sowing to ensure optimal plant nutrition during the early stages of growth.
Suitable for soils lacking phosphorus
Improves fertility and productivity.
Recommended dosage (per acre):
Cereals (wheat, barley)
10-15 kg/acre, applied as basic fertilization before sowing.
Corn
15-25 kg/ha, during planting.
Cotton
10-15 kg/acre, before sowing.
Psychanthus
20–25 kg/m²
Potato
20-30 kg/ha, during planting, incorporated into the soil.
Tomato and pepper
2-3 kg/m² per application via hydro-lubrication during the early stages of development.
Olives
2-3 kg/tree, applied at the beginning of the growing season.
Vineyards
15-20 kg/ha, applied during basic fertilization (before the start of the growing season).
