Basic nutrients and their needs
Nitrogen (N): nitrogen is essential for plant growth and increased yield. According to studies, application of 2.5-5 kg of nitrogen per acre can increase yield by 18.9-28.4 kg of rice per kg of applied nitrogen.

Basic fertilisation: apply 40% of the total amount of nitrogen incorporated into the soil before sowing.

Phosphorus (P): important for the development of the root system and enhancing flowering. 4-8 kg of phosphorus per acre is considered sufficient, incorporated into the soil before sowing.
Potassium (K): contributes to carbohydrate synthesis and transport, enhancing plant resistance to disease and adverse conditions. The addition of 6-10 kg of potassium per acre is sufficient. In cases of significant deficiency, half the amount is applied basally and the remainder is applied superficially at leaching.
Zinc (Zn): essential for plant growth, with its deficiency strongly affecting production. It is recommended to apply zinc during the basic fertilisation,
